In 2004 Torben Helshoj started Cutting Edge Technology because he was tired of inferior blade designs.  Torben required a blade like many other woodworkers that could produce less sawdust in turn creating higher yields, a cut that needed no sanding, and possessed the capability to be Re-Sharpened. His passion and expertise in woodworking provided the right outlook and background required to develop such a blade.
